Burlesque star Dita von Teese has been unveiled as the new star of Wonderbra. She will be designing a limited edition range of lingerie for the brand. Dita, real name Heather Renee Sweet and now ex-wife of Marilyn Manson, follows in the bra cups of Eva Herzigova, Sophie Anderton, Caprice and Suzanne Younger (who?).
It will be interesting to see what von Teese will bring to Wonderbra. She has a sexy reputation and that, along with her 40s burlesque influence and love of corsets could all be included. It’s also a bold move by Wonderbra and a step away from the supermodels and Suzanne Younger (a former Miss Wales apparently).
